2011 Auction Napa Valley E-Lot Winners

We are pleased to announce our 2011 Auction Napa Valley E-Lot Winners - Ron and Paula Seward. We caught up with our Auction Napa Valley 2011 winners - Ron and Paula Seward to ask them a few questions about ANV and what they will do with their prize. They are the proud winners of our ultimate food and wine experience in their home. Our Chef and Winemakers will travel to a city of their choice and serve a five-course meal paired with Chandon wines. In addition, they will receive 36 bottles of our etoile Tête de Cuvée.

Chandon: When was the first time you came to Auction Napa Valley, and why do you participate every year?

Mr. Seward: Our first Auction was 1999. We heard about it on a local Washington DC TV station as “something fun to do this spring”. We had such a good time and met so many nice people that we just kept coming back. We were unable to attend in 2010 and this year, but decided that we had to try for the Chandon lot. This was our fifth successful bid on the Chandon e-auction lot (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011). The first three dinners were “reauctioned”, twice for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and once for The Phoenix Project. Between ANV and my two charities, over $215,000 was raised.

Chandon: Who will you celebrate your winning prize with?

Mr. Seward: We will be celebrating a family birthday.
