In Memoriam: John H. Wright, 1933 – 2012
It's with a heavy heart that we announce John Wright passed away peacefully at St. Helena Hospital on January 15, 2012. Born in Buffalo, New York, John went on to become the founding president and chairman of Domaine Chandon. With technical guidance from Moët & Chandon, in 1973 John and his winemaking staff began producing high quality “méthode champenoise” sparkling wines from Napa Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. John was revered and loved by the staff he motivated each and every day with his quick wit, creativity, sense of humor, enthusiasm and infectious optimism. He will forever be a part of our history. A celebration of John’s life will be on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Domaine Chandon in Yountville, from 5pm to 7pm.

5th Annual OysterFest: A Bubbles Benefit
This year’s event marks our second year in partnership with Meals On Wheels of San Francisco. Enjoy live music, sparkling wine and oysters on Domaine Chandon's scenic terrace in Napa Valley while helping one of the city’s most distinguished charitable organizations.
Ticket price of $50 per person includes exclusive entrance to the event, a dozen oysters and one glass of bubbles.
Tickets are required for this event and must be purchased by April 14.
