The quintessential character of the Reserve Club Cuvée is a rich and creamy texture that unfolds softly on the palate. To achieve this, the winemaking team will first focus on structure and texture to select the individual base wines into the blend. The second fermentation will be designed to produce less pressure resulting in less intense bubbles for a softer mouthfeel. A slightly higher dosage or finish on the wine will retain the impact of acidity and extend density and length towards maximizing the creamy mouthfeel.
This rich and complex wine opens with aromas of brioche, lemon mousse and green apple followed by ripe pear, a hint of ginger, and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, the wine is generous with a silky texture and creaminess that carry over subtle fruit notes of apple and white peach while adding the richness of toffee, honey, caramel and vanilla flavors.
Food and Wine Pairing
Reserve Club Cuvée is delightful when used as an aperitif wine to enjoy on its own or to pair with creamier dishes such as seafood with cream sauce, Crab Louie salad, a variety of soft cheeses and rich pâté or foie gras terrine. This cuvée is also wonderful with desserts such as crème brûlée, panna cotta or cheesecake.
