Spring is an exciting time for us at étoile Restaurant. Our Chef's garden provides us with wonderful produce to compliment our other locally sourced ingredients. The result is a delightfully fresh menu featuring asparagus, kumquats and baby artichokes alongside favorites like Dungeness Crab.

4th annual OysterFest: A Bubbles Benefit
This year's event not only inaugurates the spring season at the winery but also a new partnership with Meals On Wheels of San Francisco. Enjoy live music, sparkling wine and oysters on Domaine Chandon's scenic terrace in Napa Valley while helping one of the city's most distinguished charitable organizations.

Ticket price of $60 per couple includes exclusive entrance to the event, a dozen oysters and two glasses of bubbles. Single tickets available for $45 and include a dozen oysters and a glass of wine.

Crab Salad with Fennel, Rhubarb, and Madeira Gelée
This refreshing crab salad is a wonderful starter that also makes a stunning first course or main course for a light lunch. At the restaurant, our chefs typically use sweet, meaty Dungeness crab, found throughout California's coastal waters, but if you can't find Dungeness crab, any fresh crab will do. Keep in mind that most fishmongers sell cooked fresh crab that has been picked from the shell—a serious time-saver for the home cook. Crunchy fennel provides a delightful contrast to the crab, and the tangy rhubarb—macerated with strawberries and Madeira wine—offers an earthy flavor to marry with the seafood. View recipe >
