Carneros Chardonnay, 2012

Food and Wine Pairing

Our Carneros Chardonnay is extremely versatile. It can be served with a wide range of cheeses, from aged Gouda to farmstead cheddar. It’s also delicious with savory tarts and salads. For a main course consider Petrale sole with lemon and capers or a pork chop seared in a bit of butter.

Tasting Notes

Alluring aromas of jasmine, honey, star anise, meyer lemon and Asian pear lead to the round, rich palate. Baked apple and lemon cream are supported by well-integrated oak and a clean, mineral-laced finish.

Carneros Pinot Noir, 2011

New Release

Accolades

90 points Wine Enthusiast, May 2013. (vintage 2010)
"A festive, elegant Pinot for drinking now with fine fare, such as lamb, steak, salmon or tuna. It’s crisp, silky and dry, yet there’s a core of ripe raspberry and cherry essence enriched with toasty oak."

Food and Wine Pairing

The richness of this Pinot Noir complements bolder-flavored foods, from Portobello burgers with romesco sauce and grilled octopus to rabbit braised in red wine and grilled tofu or spare ribs with Hoisin sauce.

Tasting Notes

The aromas of this wine quickly communicate its complexity and depth. Ripe plum, conifer, and earth mingle with boysenberry, rose hops and fresh thyme.  On the palate, the bold fruit flavors—predominantly raspberry and Rainier cherry—are nuanced with veins of minerality, savory herbs and subtle vanilla hints.

Carneros Pinot Meunier, 2012

New Release

Accolades

91 points Wine Enthusiast, May 2013. (vintage 2011)
"Almost indistinguishable from a Pinot Noir, this polished wine is light and silky and dry, with brisk acidity highlighting red cherry, red licorice, cola and mushroom flavors."

Food and Wine Pairing

We like to serve out Pinot Meunier with spicy foods and those with Mediterranean spices. Foods with tahini, cumin, chili peppers, and bold herbs make great pairings. Try it with falafel, mulligatawny, or ginger spiced grilled shrimp skewers.

Tasting Notes

This wine is spice driven with aromas of 5 spice, nutmeg, hibiscus, rosehips and damson plum. The palate bursts forth with big spicy and rich cherry, licorice, tar and earth. The wine has a continuous bead of minerality throughout and a supple, refreshing finish that begs for another sip.
