Chandon is best known as one of America’s top sparkling wines. Less known is Domaine Chandon also produces limited quantities of varietal wines from our estate vineyards. The 2010 vintage, our second of this wine, continues our proud tradition of producing wines in a region where we were the first and continue to set the standards for wines of excellence.

Tasting Notes

Cassis, blackberry and fresh rosemary in classic proportions are the enticing aromas of this wine. The palate is velvety with cassis, blackberry, plums and mocha flavors mixing with the ripe tannins and elegant structure.

Food and Wine Pairing

A risotto with sautéed leeks and mushrooms would be a beautiful vegetarian choice for this wine. For the carnivore, braised lamb with oregano would make an excellent match.
