Each Thursday at 5pm EST on @ChandonUSA Instagram, we bring you the Countertop Cocktail series. In this first installement, bartender Crystal Chasse creates a cocktail called So Freakin' Cute, inspired by her mom's favorite saying. This amazing granita cocktail featured Chandon Rosé

  • Granita:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup dried hibiscus or 8 hibiscus tea bags
  • 1/2 tsp cadamom
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Zest of 2 lemons

  • Cocktail:
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • .5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 4 oz Chandon Rosé
  • 2 tbsp hibiscus granita

Granita: Add water, hibiscus and cardamom to pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer for 7 minutes. Add in sugar. Stir to dissolve. Add in lemon zest. Cool. Strain and freeze in silicone ice tray.

Cocktail: Add lemon and bitters to coupe glass. Add in Granita. Top with Chandon Rosé and garnish wiht a lemon peel and (if available) a flower for your mom! Enjoy
