Pinot Noir is recognized for its versatility and the 2017 is no exception. This wine would be delicious when opened with barbequed salmon, slow-cooked short ribs, a portobello mushroom burger, or some eggplant parmesan.
Winemaking and More
2017 was a cool year after a few years of drought, resulting in a long growing season giving the grapes time to develop complex flavors and texture. Grown at our Yountville property, the grapes are picked and fermented before going into French Oak barrels to age, smoothing out the rich tannins for a supple mouthfeel. A case of 12.
