Sparkling Red Snow Cone

The most fun snow cone ever! Your favorite Sparkling Red gets reimagined just in time to beat summer's heat. Try this at your next party for a refreshing treat to keep guests talking.

  • 1 (750ml) bottle Chandon Sparkling Red

  • 1/2 cup mint simple syrup (See below)

Pour the Chandon Sparkling Red into a shallow glass or plastic container large enough for the wine to be 3 to 4 inches deep. Freeze until solid.

Use a fork to break into a slushy texture. Scoop into paper cones or cone-shaped glasses. Drizzle 1 to 2 tablespoons of the mint simple syrup over each serving. Serve with a straw or spoon.

Mint simple syrup

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh mint leaves

Combine the water, sugar and mint in a small saucepan. Muddle the mint lightly with a wooden spoon. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and let cool for at least 20 minutes. Strain and refrigerate until ready to use.
