Each vintage tells its own story, and our Vintage 2017 wines have a lot to say. Looking back, 2017 was a challenging year that brought some unusual and interesting characteristics to the wine. Extremes in weather had our winemaking and vineyard teams on their toes with harvest lasting just five weeks.
We had to be very agile, ensuring we captured the freshness and brightness of the fruit. The high acidity balanced with optimal malolactic fermentation in the cuvées set the framework for a softer and creamier style.

VINTAGE MT VEEDER BRUT 2017
CHANDON Terroir Mt Veeder is a concentrated, zesty brut sparkling Chardonnay from the 2017 vintage. This blanc de blancs reveals the unique character of our historic estate vineyards at Mt Veeder and shows a classic Chardonnay flavor profile, with concentration and richness as well as granitic minerality and freshness. VINTAGE YOUNTVILLE BRUT 2017
CHANDON Terroir Yountville 2017 is an exuberant, ripe California vintage brut sparkling wine that's a single-vintage traditional-method showcase of night-harvested grapes from the vineyards at our Yountville Napa Valley home.
Ripe softness and refreshing brightness sing in this Pinot Noir-Chardonnay blend, with notes of fig, honeycomb and peach, plus pastry and toast from 48 months' minimum aging on lees.
Great with pork gyoza and udon noodles, truffle popcorn and most cheeses.

CHANDON's sparkling Terroir Los Carneros Brut 2017 is a juicy, vibrant vintage wine that encapsulates the best of CHANDON's Los Carneros terroir.
A traditional-method showcase of our cool-climate vineyards; ripe fruit flavors are balanced with complexity and bright acidity. A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, with notes of strawberry, cherry and blueberry alongside shortbread and biscuit from 4 years' minimum lees age.
Works wonderfully with lobster, strong savory cheeses and poultry.
Carneros's proximity to San Pablo Bay brings daytime fog and cool breezes to the region, ensuring ripeness and complexity are balanced by vibrant acidity.
