CHANDON Reserve Blanc de Blancs, By the Bay is a tribute to our Los Carneros terroir.
Our ode to Chardonnay, this is a traditional-method wine grown at our exceptional cool-climate Los Carneros site in the north of San Pablo Bay. Aged 52 months, this is zesty, elegant and mineral with notes of Fuji pear, apple and citrus layered with brioche, almond and honey.
The best wine to drink with fish and seafood, creamy or rich dishes, fish tacos or cauliflower steaks.

Zesty freshness with layered complexity. Key flavors include lemon, grapefruit, brioche, vanilla, stone fruit and white flower.
Grapes are harvested at night to keep the fruit cool and preserve freshness. Harvest begins in early August to retain acidity and capture CHANDON’s signature vibrancy. State-of-the-art presses lower pressing times, limiting the juice’s contact with the grape skins to avoid bitterness. Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Assemblage occurs at the end of the fermentation process, which involves blending multiple vintages of base wines for a complex, consistent style.The second fermentation then occurs in the bottle and the ageing process begins, where the wine will spend a minimum of 12 months on the yeast lees.
