CHANDON Étoile Tête de Cuvée is our finest sparkling wine : a vibrant, intense, refined brut crafted only in the very best years. This traditional-method blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from our best sites, aged at least 7 years on lees, has vibrant acidity, intense complexity and elegant richness, with a dry, long finish.
Our wine tasting notes confirm profound aromas of cocoa, baked apple, black tea, Meyer lemon peel, nutmeg and herbs. Delicious with seafood, creamy cheeses and game birds
Crafted only in the best years, étoile Tête de Cuvée is the ultimate single-harvest expression of Chandon. French for “head of the blend,” Tête de Cuvée is the first blend made by our winemakers each vintage.
The 2014 growing season was warmer than usual and drought brought on an early harvest with excellent fruit quality and above average yields Tête de Cuvée resulted in a ripe, generous wine with round smoothness and texture.
